Embarking on Your SoftWave Journey at Cedar Park Chiropractic: What to Expect on Your First Visit?

Published May 21st, 2024 by SoftwaveCedarPark.com

Welcome to a transformative experience with Dr. Jeff Swanson and his dedicated team at Cedar Park Chiropractic. As you prepare for your initial SoftWave Discovery Day, here’s what to expect from your visit and how this cutting-edge therapy can pave the way to enhanced health and vitality.

1. Meet and Greet

Upon arrival, you'll be warmly welcomed by our team, setting the stage for a comfortable and supportive environment. This is your first step on the journey to recovery and improved well-being.

2. Chief Complaint and Health History Overview

We will sit down with you to discuss your chief complaint and review your health history in detail. Understanding your unique situation is crucial for tailoring the SoftWave therapy to your specific needs.

3. Education on SoftWave Tissue Regeneration Technology

You'll receive comprehensive education about SoftWave Tissue Regeneration Technology, including its scientific foundation:

  • Activation and Migration of Stem Cells: Initiating repair and regeneration of damaged tissues.
  • Modulation of Inflammation: Leading to a decrease in swelling and pain.
  • Improved Mobility: Thanks to decreased inflammation and pain.
  • VEGF and eNOS: Enhancing blood flow and oxygenation of tissues.
  • Neoangiogenesis and Neovascularization: Forming new blood vessels for better nutrient delivery.
  • Toll Like Receptors and BMP (Bone Morphogenic Protein): Signaling pathways that promote healing.
  • PCNA (Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen): Indicative of cell proliferation and tissue repair.

4. Introduction to SoftWave Therapy: Discovery Day Mapping Session

Your first visit includes a Discovery Day Mapping Session, where Dr. Jeff and his team will use SoftWave technology to locate "hot spots" of inflammation, arthritis, tendinitis, bursitis, muscle damage, lack of blood flow and circulation, nerve pain, and more. This mapping is vital for identifying the precise areas that require treatment and confirming if you’re an ideal candidate for SoftWave Therapy.

5. Your First SoftWave Therapy Session

After the mapping session, you’ll receive your first SoftWave therapy treatment. Most patients experience an immediate decrease in pain and inflammation, along with improved mobility and range of motion. This session marks the beginning of your healing process, targeting the areas identified during mapping for optimal results.

6. Discussion of SoftWave Protocol

Dr. Jeff and his team will discuss a personalized SoftWave protocol with you, outlining a treatment plan for the next 6-8 weeks. This tailored approach lays the groundwork for sustained healing, leveraging the ongoing activity of stem cells and mitochondria for up to 12 weeks or more after your last session. The duration of the benefits varies among patients, influenced by lifestyle habits, occupation, activity levels, medications, inflammation levels, severity, frequency and chronic nature of chief complaint and other factors that we will discuss with you. However, it is not uncommon for most of our patients to experience lasting sustainable change and improved healing and function for weeks, months, up to one year or even more following their SoftWave program!
